September 2003 route

Met Monday night in Mals on September 15,2003.

TUESDAY

Over Stelvio to Bormio, over the Gavia (closed to cars), west for lunch in Edolo, continued west over Passo dell Aprica, through Tirano, northwest past Le Prese to the top of the Bernina Pass, retraced route back towards Le Prese, turned north over Forcola di Livigno, through Livigno, east over Passo di Eira and Passo di Foscagno back to Bormio, north towards Stelvio and down the Umbrail Pass to Mals.

WEDNESDAY

Northwest over the Reschenpass into Austria, continued north towards Landeck, turned east to Kaups and north over the Pillerhohe to Arz, northeast to Orztal and then southeast towards Italy over the Timmelsjoch with lunch in St. Leonard then northeast over the Jaufen pass to Sterzing, southeast towards Bressanone, turned east on the main road to Brunico, turnoff at Lorenzo heading south for night’s stay in Corvara.

THURSDAY

Headed west out of Corvara over Passo Gardena, south over Passo Sella, east over Passo Pordoi through Arraba, east over Passo Falzerego through Cortina, east over Passo Tre Croci for lunch at Misurina, up the toll road to the top of Drei Zinnen, retrace route back through Cortina towards Falzerego, turn south over Passo di Giau, back roads to Arraba, north over Passo di Campolonga to Corvara.

FRIDAY

Headed south over Passo di Campolonga to Arraba, east towards Passo di Falzerego, turned south on back road to Caprile, continued south to Cencenighe on south to Agordo, turned northeast over Passo Duran, turned north at Forno over the Passo Staulanza back to Caprile, east through the Sottoguda Gorge, over Passo Fediera and lunch across the dam, continued east to Canazei, north over Passo di Sella, turned west (before the Passo Gardena) towards the autostrada past Ortisei, turned north over back roads to Laion and onto Funes, turned east over the Wurtzjoch to St. Martin, turned south back to Corvara.

SATURDAY

Headed south over Passo di Campolonga, west over Passo di Pordoi through Canazei and south towards Predazzo, turned west over Passo di Castalunga towards Ponte Nova, south over Passo di Lavaze to Cavalese, south west to Molina and south over Passo di Manghen where we ate lunch, south to Telve, west to Roncegno, down to the main road west to Trento, southwest over Mt. Bondone via Sopramonte down to Lasino, south to Drena, south by Arco to Riva Del Garda.

SUNDAY

Headed west passing by Lagi di Ledro to Storo, headed south towards Lago di Eridio, turned west on the road to Bagolino …………………………………………………..
